Rooted Touch
Safe. Attuned. Human Connection.
Rooted Touch is professional, non-sexual, consent-led somatic support for people who feel overwhelmed, disconnected, or stuck in survival mode.
It offers your nervous system a chance to slow down, soften, and return to a sense of safety,
without pressure, performance, or expectation.
This is not about fixing you.
It’s about helping your body remember how to rest.

What Makes This Integrative
Rooted Touch is an integration space ~ a place where your body can be heard, supported,
and met without pressure to change or perform.
Rather than treating physical, emotional, and relational experiences as separate, this work recognises
that everything is connected.
Stress shows up in the body.
Emotional strain lives in tissue.
Long-held patterns shape posture, breath, and tension.
Safety changes physiology.
This is not a single technique.
I am a qualified massage therapist, trained in professional touch therapy,
consent-led somatic practice, and nervous-system-informed care.
My work is also informed by spiritual healing principles that honour the body’s innate capacity
to rebalance when met with presence and respect.
Each session weaves together:
• Attuned therapeutic touch
• Massage-based bodywork where appropriate
• Nervous system regulation
• Trauma-aware pacing
• Grounded energetic awareness
Sessions are guided less by technique and more by presence.
I don’t try to make your body change.
I don’t push release.
I follow your system’s lead.
Because the body already knows how to move toward balance when it feels safe enough.
Understanding Touch Therapy
Touch is one of the first ways we learn safety.
Long before language, our nervous systems learn through tone, rhythm,
and gentle contact whether the world is safe.
In modern life, many of us live in our heads ~ managing, coping, pushing through ~
while the body absorbs the load.
When the nervous system stays in fight, flight, freeze, or shutdown for too long,
it forgets how to rest.
Rest does not come through force or analysis.
It comes through safe, attuned, non-demanding contact that allows your system to settle.
Rooted Touch draws on principles from professional cuddle therapy, massage therapy, and trauma-aware somatic practice.
Every session is guided by clear boundaries, explicit consent, and professional structure, so your body can finally exhale ~ knowing it is respected, not rushed.
This is not indulgence.
It is necessary nervous system care.

Why Touch Matters
Many people spend their
lives in their heads;

Rooted Touch guides you back to balance beneath language.
Before logic.
Before story.
Through warmth.
Through steady presence.
Through responsive contact.
This is where regulation begins.

Bridging Body &
Everyday Life
Healing doesn’t happen in isolation from life, relationships, or work.
Rooted Touch supports the body in releasing what it has been holding so you can meet life with greater steadiness, clarity, and capacity.
This is not about escaping life.
It’s about becoming more resourced to live it.

Where do sessions take place?
Rooted Touch sessions take place in calm, private, carefully chosen environments
designed to feel safe, comfortable, and non-clinical.
I work from a range of therapy-style spaces across Worcestershire, West Midlands serving Worcester, Droitwich, Bromsgrove, Evesham, Pershore, Birmingham and surrounding areas.
These are quiet, warm, and intentionally created to support nervous system regulation.
Depending on your needs, sessions may also be possible:
-
in your home
-
in a workplace setting
-
outdoors/in nature (where appropriate, as I live in a rural setting)
-
in care environments (e.g. hospices or residential settings)
-
online (guided / presence-based sessions)
Not every setting suits every person ~ and that’s okay.
We’ll always agree the location in advance so you know exactly what to expect.
If you have access needs, sensory sensitivities, mobility considerations, or environmental preferences,
we can explore what would feel most supportive during your free consultation. This is exactly what the call is for.
Travel Policy
Sessions within a 10-mile radius of Worcester are included.
For locations beyond this, a distance-based travel supplement may apply.
This will always be discussed transparently in advance, so there are no surprises.
