These Terms & Conditions set out the agreement between you (the client) and Rooted Healing. By accessing this website, making contact, or booking a session, you agree to the following terms.
1. About Rooted Healing & Nature of Services
Rooted Healing offers grounded, integrative support through two primary services:
Rooted Reflections – a relational, insight-led talking space for emotional processing, overwhelm, life transitions, and self-exploration.
Rooted Touch Therapy – a non-sexual, professional, consent-based touch practice focused on nurturing connection, regulation, and embodied presence.
Services are intended to support wellbeing, self-awareness, and personal growth.
Rooted Healing does not provide medical, psychological, psychiatric, or counselling services and does not diagnose, treat, or cure any medical or mental health condition.
Sessions are not a substitute for medical care, mental health treatment, or professional advice from a GP, psychologist, psychiatrist, or other regulated healthcare provider.
2. Eligibility
Services are available to adults aged 18 and over.
By booking, you confirm that you are over 18 and capable of giving informed consent.
You must be in a suitable physical and mental state to participate. If you are currently experiencing severe emotional distress or mental health crisis, you are encouraged to seek appropriate clinical support.
3. Website Use
The content on this website is for general information only.
You agree not to misuse the website or attempt to interfere with its operation.
All content is the intellectual property of Rooted Healing and may not be copied, reproduced, or distributed without written permission.
4. Booking Process
All clients begin with either:
• A free 15-minute consultation, or
• Initial contact via email, text, or phone.
If we both feel the work is a good fit, a session date and time will be agreed.
You will then be sent a secure payment link.
Your session is confirmed only once payment has been received.
Rooted Healing reserves the right to decline a booking if the service is not considered appropriate or safe.
5. Payment
Payment is required in advance for all sessions.
Prices are clearly communicated before booking.
Payments are processed securely via third-party providers. Rooted Healing does not store or have access to your full card details.
6. Cancellations, Rescheduling & Late Arrivals
A minimum of 48 hours' notice is required to cancel or reschedule a session.
Cancellations made with at least 48 hours' notice may be refunded or rescheduled.
Cancellations made within 48 hours of the scheduled session will normally be non-refundable. Genuine emergencies and exceptional circumstances will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
If you arrive late, your session may need to be shortened without an extension or partial refund. Missed appointments without notice are normally non-refundable.
Nothing in this policy affects your statutory consumer rights.
7. Online & In-Person Sessions
Sessions may take place online or in person, depending on what is agreed.
Please arrive freshly showered and wearing clean, comfortable clothing suitable for your session. Rooted Touch sessions are conducted with appropriate clothing maintained throughout. Any adjustments required for agreed bodywork will be discussed and consented to beforehand.
For online sessions, you are responsible for having a stable internet connection and a private, quiet space.
8. Informed Consent & Personal Responsibility
By booking, you acknowledge that:
• You take responsibility for your own wellbeing and choices.
• You understand the nature of the services offered.
• You are free to pause, change, or stop a session at any time.
• You agree to share any relevant physical or mental health information that may affect your session.
9. Touch, Boundaries & Professional Conduct
Where Rooted Touch Therapy is offered, it is:
• Non-sexual
• Professional
• Consent-based
• Boundaried
Consent is ongoing and can be withdrawn at any time.
Recording, photographing, or filming sessions is not permitted.
Any sexualised behaviour, harassment, or requests for sexual services will result in immediate termination of the session without refund.
10. Health & Illness
If you are unwell, have a contagious condition, or feel physically unsafe to attend, please reschedule your session.
Spaces and materials are cleaned between clients.
11. Confidentiality & Safeguarding
All personal information shared in sessions is treated as confidential.
Confidentiality may be broken if there is serious risk of harm to yourself or others, or where legally required.
Rooted Healing is committed to safeguarding and acting responsibly where concerns arise.
12. Right to Refuse or End Sessions
Rooted Healing reserves the right to refuse, pause or end a session where:

Professional boundaries are not respected.

Abusive, inappropriate or sexualised behaviour occurs.

Safety or safeguarding concerns arise.

The service is no longer appropriate for the client's needs.
Where a session is terminated because of serious misconduct or a breach of agreed professional boundaries, no refund will normally be provided, subject to applicable consumer law.
Where a session is discontinued for other reasons, any refund or alternative arrangement will be considered fairly according to the circumstances and applicable consumer rights.
13. Client Behaviour
Clients are expected to treat Rooted Healing with respect.
Abusive, aggressive, manipulative, or inappropriate behaviour will not be tolerated.

Complaints will be acknowledged and responded to within a reasonable timeframe.
15. Limitation of Liability
Rooted Healing will take reasonable care to provide services safely, professionally and within the practitioner's competence.
Clients are asked to disclose relevant health information and communicate any discomfort, concerns or changes in their wellbeing.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or restricted.
Nothing in these terms affects your statutory consumer rights.
16. Changes to These Terms
These Terms & Conditions may be updated from time to time.
The current version will always be available on the website.
