About Rooted Healing
Many people today are emotionally overwhelmed but still functioning.
They are dysregulated, isolated, and carrying more than they have words for.
Often over-therapised but under-held.
Over-informed but under-integrated.
Spiritually hungry, but suspicious of anything that feels vague or ungrounded.
Rooted Healing exists for people living in those gaps.
Rooted = embodied, real, honest, grounded
Healing = restoration of coherence (not cure, not fixing)

Who I Am
My perspective is informed by a long-standing engagement with psychology, somatic practices, systems thinking, wisdom traditions and spiritual frameworks ~ held together through lived experience rather than rigid methodology
I don’t work from a single method or model.
My approach has grown from living in
many worlds at once:
emotional and practical,
intuitive and analytical,
spiritual and grounded.
Informed by many. Held as one.
For over two decades, I worked inside complex systems ~ corporate environments, senior leadership roles, social care, and human-centred work.
In those spaces, I saw again and again how much people carry without being able to name it. How competence often masks exhaustion. How rarely there is room to be fully human.
That experience did not disappear when I began this work.
It shaped it.
My perspective has also been shaped by my own lived experience of family, relationship, and responsibility, and by witnessing how people carry both love and complexity across generations.
What I offer now is not a technique.
It is a way of being with people that allows them to soften, untangle, and reconnect with themselves.
People often tell me that I help them put words to what they have been holding quietly. That I notice what sits beneath the surface. That I make complexity feel less frightening, and depth feel safe.
This is not about insight for its own sake.
It is about creating enough safety for something real to shift.
How Rooted Healing Is Different
I believe human beings are far more capable than we are often taught to believe ~ not in a grand, performative way, but in a quiet, deeply human one.
Healing is not about fixing what is broken.
It is about strengthening what is already alive.
When we gain new perspective, old patterns soften.
What once felt heavy becomes lighter.
What once felt confusing becomes meaningful.
I am not the source of your healing.
I create the conditions in which your own healing can unfold.
Rooted Healing sits in a space often overlooked ~ between clinical support that feels overly medical, and spiritual spaces that feel ungrounded.
I work integratively, attending to your emotional world, nervous system, body, beliefs, and sense of meaning as one living system.
You remain the expert on yourself. My role is to reflect, not diagnose, analyse, or direct.
What I offer is a grounded, relational space where your own understanding can emerge, and where your nervous system can settle enough for change to become possible.
This is not about becoming more positive, spiritual, or productive.
It is about becoming more rooted.
More anchored in yourself.
More steady inside your own life.
Two pathways.
One shared philosophy.
Rooted Healing offers two core forms of support:
Rooted Reflections — integrative, reflective, talk-based sessions supporting clarity and meaning-making.
Rooted Touch — certified, platonic, consent-led touch therapy supporting nervous system regulation and embodied safety.
Both are held with the same intention:
to help you come back into relationship with yourself, with more clarity, regulation, and ease.

Ethics, Boundaries, and Safety
My work is trauma-aware, inclusive, and consent-led.
I am not a counsellor, psychotherapist, or medical practitioner.
I do not diagnose, treat, or offer clinical interventions.
This work is not a replacement for psychotherapy or medical care.
What I do offer is a grounded, emotionally intelligent space where people can reflect, regulate, and reconnect with themselves.
Sometimes the most ethical support is not me ~ and I will always help you find the right kind of care when that’s the case.
Clear boundaries are not a limitation.
They are what make this work safe.
