Rooted Healing offers two distinct ways of working.

Rooted Reflections

Grounded conversational support for people navigating emotional overload, burnout, grief, life transitions, and sustained inner pressure.

This is for you if you feel:

Overwhelmed or emotionally overloaded.

Worn down or burnt out.

Carrying grief, loss, or heartbreak.

Lonely in what you’re holding.

Disconnected from yourself.

Needing somewhere safe to talk and be met.

Rooted Reflections or Rooted Touch

Two ways of working, both leading to the same place:
a deeper sense of grounding, coherence and self-trust.

Which feels right for you right now?

Rooted Touch

Professional, safe, non-sexual touch-based sessions designed to support nervous system regulation, embodied safety, and reconnection to the body.

This pathway is for you if you feel:

Anxious or on edge.

Unable to fully rest or switch off.

Tense, tight, or holding stress in your body. Overstimulated or overwhelmed.

Disconnected from your body.

Longing for comfort, calm, or felt sense

of being held and safe.

Meet Jo

Founder of Rooted Healing.

With over two decades of experience working across business, organisational change, and people-focused roles, Jo has spent her career inside complex systems where pressure, ambiguity, and responsibility are everyday realities.

The work has always been the same at its core: noticing what’s unspoken, making sense of complexity, and helping people steady themselves within demanding environments.

Over time, this evolved into a more embodied way of working ~ supporting people not just through insight, but through presence and carefully held touch.

How I Hold This Work

I hold Rooted Healing with clear structure, deep respect, and strong professional boundaries.

This work is not casual.

It is not unbounded.

And it is not improvised.

My role is not to tell you who you are or what to do.

It is to create the conditions in which you can hear yourself more clearly. This work is grounded, relational, and integrative. It honours your pace, your boundaries, and your lived experience, not a framework imposed from outside.

I hold this work with seriousness, softness, and respect for the complexity of being human.

Like roots, this kind of healing grows beneath the surface; slowly, quietly, and in its own time.

Rooted Healing can be especially supportive for people who carry a lot ~ emotionally, mentally, or through the responsibilities of their lives and work.

This work offers a confidential, grounded space to think, feel, and recalibrate outside performance roles.

Client Reflections

"As a marketing manager juggling endless deadlines, I constantly felt overstimulated and detached from my body. My sleep was also suffering. I spoke to Jo about Rooted Touch sessions, something I’d never imagined doing. After the first week, my stress levels dropped, and after four weeks I now sleep an average of 2 hours longer per night. The embodied grounding techniques I learned help me reset between meetings."
